To Whom It May Concern,
For some time now, Crimson Dawn found itself locked within the Shadow Dominion Alliance Group. . For some time now we for various reasons were obligated to stay, mostly in honor of Ximaro who founded the alliance group. For us this is someone who enabled me to do whatever i wanted to do by providing me the one resource i couldn’t obtain, he gave me planets. It is a matter of respect for that honor. When someone grants you a great gift you should not follow suit with disrespect. Recently with Ximaros retirement and STP’s evolution into a more imperial leaning organization, we have taken the opportunity to part ways from SD.
I understand that many will say “if you didn’t agree with SD, why did you stay!?” and i think I just adequately explained that, it was to honor what we had been given and who gave it to us. We havent been aligned actions or morals wise with SD for some time, and while we have deep rooted friendships with the people and groups that made up SD, we need to find something that fits who we are better at this time or just do our own thing.
I wanted to take a moment to reach out to you, because we do not wish to make a big commotion about this, we do not feel it needs to be dragged through the public arena. We do however feel that given our diplomatic connection with you, that yourself and your people be made aware of these changes to our politics.
